Dear Members and Friends,
We are sending you sad news about the passing away of a great friend of Poland and the Polish people,
a well-known American writer and journalist, M. Allen Paul III (1939 – 2026).
He wrote a best-selling book on Katyń titled: Stalin’s Massacre and the Triumph of Truth. His book has many editions and translations into Polish, Czech, and Hungarian.
He had decided to write a special version of the Katyń Massacre based on stories of victims from three Polish families and stories of their families. He managed to obtain private accounts of their family’s tragedy associated with this monumental crime in the history of Poland and the world. He had lived in Poland for some time to achieve it and published one of the most important books
on this tragedy. His narrative is very moving and important.
