During NASA Apollo Program 6 missions successfully landed on the Moon: Apollo 11 (July 16-24, 1969), Apollo 12 (Nov. 14-24, 1969), Apollo 13 (April 11-17, 1970 – did not land due to oxygen tank failure), Apollo 14 (Jan. 31 – Feb. 9, 1971), Apollo 15 (July 26 – Aug. 7, 1971), Apollo 16 (April 16 – 27, 1972), Apollo 17 (Dec. 7 – 19, 1972).

Last three missions: Apollo 15, 16 and 17 included the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) designed and manufactured under direction of Dr. Mieczyslaw Gregory Bekker, Polish, Canadian and American extraordinary engineer and inventor, founder of terramechanics.
